Natalia honored with the 2020 Graduate TA of the Year Award in the Robert F. Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Congratulations to Natalia Lopez-Barbosa who is the recipient of the 2020 Graduate TA of the Year Award. Natalia is recognized for her outstanding contribution to teaching and co-developing new lab experiments. As noted in the nomination “...without Natalia’s unflappable dedication and willingness to go above and beyond the normal call of duty, these groundbreaking pilot lab modules never lab modules never would’ve gotten off the ground.” The nomination also noted that in her role as inaugural TA for a new protein engineering course “Natalia was instrumental in creating cutting-edge content from scratch that was always of the highest quality." We will celebrate this accomplishment next time we all get together, for now, please join me in congratulating Natalia on this outstanding award. Prior DLRG Graduate TA of the Year Award winners include Jason Boock (2012).
