Cameron will join the Department of BioSciences at Rice University as an Assistant Professor
Dr. Cameron Glasscock will be joining the faculty of the Department of BioSciences at Rice University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. At Rice, his research group will harness experimental and computational approaches to protein design and engineering. He will use these tools to study and manipulate protein-nucleic acid interactions for a wide range of applications in human health and beyond. Cameron is currently a Washington Research Foundation (WRF) Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of David Baker at the University of Washington. He received his PhD in chemical engineering from Cornell University in 2019, where he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and co-advised by Julius Lucks and Matt on a project at the interface of RNA biology, glycobiology and synthetic biology.
