DLRG welcomes Jaymee Palma as a new PhD student from Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology (BMCB)

Jaymee Palma (pictured at left) recently joined the DeLisa group after completing a rotation in the lab. Jaymee is a first-year PhD student in BMCB at Cornell. She will be working on both fundamental and applied aspects of bacterial glycoprotein biosynthesis with one goal to understand the complex machinery involved in site-specific glycan installation and another goal to exploit this machinery for making custom glycoprotein therapeutics and vaccines. Prior to coming to Cornell, Jaymee earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2022.
