DLRG welcomes Deana Moffat as a new PhD student from Biomedical Engineering (BME)
Deana Moffat (pictured at left) recently joined the DeLisa group after completing a rotation in the lab. Dean is a first-year PhD student in BME at Cornell. She will be working on the discovery and engineering of glycan-specific binding proteins with the goal of leveraging these binding proteins for the creation of glycan-directed immunotherapies. Prior to coming to Cornell, Deana earned a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Binghamton University in 2021. A year later, she earned an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering also from Binghamton University.
