Asher becomes first DLRG recipient of prestigious Cornell University Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship

Congratulations to Asher Williams who is the recipient of a Cornell University Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship. The program offers significant independence and resources to top-tier postdoctoral researchers and scholars. The Cornell Presidential Postdoctoral Fellows program encompasses all research disciplines of the Ithaca, Geneva, Cornell Tech, and Weill Cornell Medicine campuses. The program aims to further demonstrate Cornell’s commitment to excellence and leadership in research and to attract some of the world’s elite young talent to campus. These researchers and scholars contribute to the collaborative, far-reaching research of the faculty and enhance the Cornell student experience as well as their own. As high-profile postdoctoral fellows, these researchers form deep connections with Cornell faculty and students across the university. Asher will begin her appointment in early February 2020.
